Description
The Pompey Club is a championship-style semi-private course overlooking the magnificent Butternut Valley south of Syracuse. Five sets of tees provide golfers of all abilities a fair test. The course is 1,700 feet above sea level, giving golfers views of Lake Ontario (60 miles away) on a clear day. The course's gently rolling contours make this course a unique challenge, as well as its five Par 5's and five Par 3's. The greens are always in top condition. The course was designed by Hal Purdy and opened in 1962.
